Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Developed and disseminated written, visual, and multimedia communication products to support command information objectives, managed official social media platforms, assisted with communication plans, and recommended communication methods to effectively inform internal and external audiences about organizational missions and programs, 2) Supported media relations by researching and preparing press releases, media responses, public affairs guidance, and senior leader briefing materials; coordinating media requests; reviewing content for operational security and policy compliance 3) Represented the command during community engagement activities by coordinating special events, supporting outreach initiatives with military, government, academic, and community organizations, and assisting subordinate units in developing communication strategies that aligned with command priorities, and 4) Collaborated with command staff to develop public affairs plans, communication guidance, taskers, and planning documents.
