Senior Consultant - AWS

Position Purpose The AWS Developer will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS technologies. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality customer experience (CX) solutions, particularly leveraging Amazon Connect and serverless architectures. Key Responsibilities Participate in requirements analysis and solution design discussions for new projects Develop, deploy, and maintain AWS-based applications and services Build infrastructure using CloudFormation, SAM, and CDK Work on assigned tasks and issues via Jira in an Agile/Scrum environment Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and related services Collaborate with architects, team leads, and cross-functional teams Suggest improvements to development processes and system architecture Build internal tools to improve delivery efficiency Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments Continuously learn and adopt new AWS services and development best practices Technical Expertise Strong experience in AWS cloud architecture and services Hands-on development experience with Node.js, Java, and/or Python Experience with serverless computing and event-driven architectures Expertise in AWS services such as: Lambda API Gateway Kinesis DynamoDB S3 EC2 CloudFormation Amazon Connect Knowledge of REST APIs and web application architecture Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Competency Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to understand requirements before proposing solutions Good communication and collaboration skills Willingness to learn and adapt quickly Openness to feedback and continuous improvement Strong team player with mentoring mindset Passion for emerging technologies and innovation Technology Stack Languages: Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java Cloud Platform: AWS Frameworks/Tools: Serverless Framework, AWS SAM, AWS CDK Services: Lambda, Kinesis, S3, EC2, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, Amazon Connect Other Tools: Jira, Git, CI/CD tools Education, Experience & Certification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of software development experience Strong experience working with AWS cloud technologies AWS certifications (preferred): AWS Certified Developer – Associate AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional At TTEC Digital, we coach clients to ensure their employees feel valued, and fully supported, because an amazing customer experience is an employee first process.
