Specialized experience is defined as: experience filling a variety of General Schedule positions which includes performing job analyses, creating vacancy announcements, and developing assessment tools to determine the best qualified applicants, completing or reviewing paperwork for a wide variety of personnel actions such as accessions, promotions, and reassignments for Federal government civilian employees; determining if applicants meet the qualification requirements for positions. Additionally, providing consultation and advisory services to managers regarding merit system principles, and practices of Human resource laws, policies and regulations on often complex or controversial matters.
