About the role

Resumes must include information which demonstrates experience and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSAs) as they relate to this position. Applicants are encouraged to be clear and specific when describing their experience level and KSAs. A qualified candidate must possess: - Knowledge of basic service operations for libraries. - Knowledge of Navy MWR Library's mission. - Knowledge of other MWR programs and their purpose. - Knowledge of front desk library operations that include library circulations. - Knowledge of technology devices and software applications. - Skill in providing excellent customer service. - Skill in the use of technology devices and software applications to include Microsoft Office applications. - Skill in typing. - Skill in reading comprehension and basic math. - Skill in public speaking. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.The work may require long periods of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and driving. Ability to lift, pull, push and carry 45 pounds. Occasionally required to move heavier items.
