At the conclusion of the temporary promotion, the employee will return to their position of record. AND Specialized Experience: For the GG-15, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS/GG-14 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: Applying a wide range of concepts, procedures, and operating methods for the staffing, recruitment, and placement of excepted and competitive service programs. Formulating objectives to develop strategic short-term and long-term hiring solutions to complex problems in conjunction with management and other team members. Performing management advisory and consultative functions in the areas of recruitment and staffing, as well as issues that involve matters that are contentious and/or susceptible to widely varying interpretations, and require creating new techniques, establishing criteria, or developing new information. Applying Human Resources regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to Human Capital programs. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
