The specialized experience requirements for this position are: To qualify for the Administrative Officer GS-12 level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the that equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. Specialized experience must reflect independent application of advanced administrative management practices across budget, human resources, procurement, and organizational support functions within a complex program environment. Your resume must show you have performed all duties similar to these: Providing guidance on preparing, revising, monitoring, and evaluating budget estimates and FTE needs; maintaining financial controls; and ensuring the equitable and efficient distribution of financial resources. Acting as a liaison with HR to advise management officials on human resources matters and coordinating organizational needs on HR matters. Coordinating administrative support structures for the office, including those involving executive correspondence, budget, and travel. Identifying and resolving complex administrative problems impacting financial management, travel, logistics, and other office operations, often under conditions requiring independent judgment, competing priorities, and limited guidance. Overseeing procurement matters for the office, ensuring adherence to Federal and Agency acquisition policies. Providing tactful and effective communication with internal and external partners.
