Companies that don’t use AI résumé screening

Updated August 2026

Two lists, kept separate on purpose. The first is employers who have said so themselves, in public and on the record. The second is employers whose live postings we score highest for human review. One is their claim; the other is our estimate. Merging them would make the page look longer and mean less.

How this list is built, and what it cannot tell you

Nobody can see inside an employer’s applicant tracking system from the outside. Any page claiming to have verified that a company runs no automated screening is guessing, and we are not going to pretend otherwise on ours.

So: certified employers have published a signed, dated commitment that a person reviews every application. We publish their words and the date. We do not inspect their systems, and a pledge is a promise rather than a finding.

Scoredemployers have made no such statement, and this ranking is ours alone. Every live posting carries a human-review estimate produced by a language model reading that posting — its title, description and the employer named on it — and nothing else. An employer’s rank is the average across their postings, pulled toward the board-wide average so a three-role employer cannot beat a thirty-role one on a lucky sample. Postings too thin to judge are excluded, and an employer needs three that qualify.

The limits, plainly: this covers only employers hiring on this board within the last 60 days, the score reads job descriptions rather than hiring systems, and a company can describe a careful process and still run résumés through a filter. Absence from this list is not evidence against a company.

Certified: employers who have pledged human review

No employer has published a pledge yet. The certification programme is new, and we would rather show an empty section than pad it with companies who never agreed to be in it.

If your company reviews every application by hand, this is the section to be in — it is the only part of this page that carries your own words rather than our estimate.

Score is 0–100 and comparative, not a probability. A 72 is ranked above a 64 on this board; it does not mean a 72% chance a human reads your application. See all 238 employers hiring.

Questions

Which companies don't use AI to screen resumes?
No public register exists, and no job board can inspect an employer’s applicant tracking system from outside. This page answers the question the two honest ways available: employers who have publicly pledged that a person reviews every application, and employers whose current listings score highest on our own human-review score. The first is their statement. The second is our estimate. Neither is an audit.
Does a company on this list guarantee a human reads my application?
No. A pledge is a public commitment by the employer, which is worth something precisely because it is public and dated — but it is not something we verify by inspecting their systems. A high score is our reading of how their postings describe the process, which is weaker still. Treat both as evidence, not proof.
How is the score calculated?
Each live posting carries a human-review estimate: a language model reads the posting — title, description and employer — and judges how likely it is that a person rather than software reads a résumé submitted to it. It is inferred from the text of the ad, never disclosed by the employer, and it can be wrong in either direction. An employer’s position is the average across their postings that are substantial enough to score, pulled toward the board-wide average so that an employer with three postings cannot outrank one with thirty on a small sample. Employers need at least three scoreable live roles to appear.
Why is a company I know about missing?
The list only covers employers with at least three roles currently live on this board, posted or confirmed open within the last 60 days. An employer who does not post here, or whose roles have gone stale, will be absent regardless of how they actually hire.
How often is this updated?
Daily, from live postings. The date in the title is generated when the page rebuilds rather than typed in, so it cannot claim to be current while showing an old list.
